Marijuana pipes are small smoking utensils available in various types, including one-hitters, bubblers, steamrollers, chillums, and more. Each has a unique look and function. The most common are hand pipes, also called spoons, which sit comfortably in the palm of your hand and feature a bowl where marijuana flower is packed.
The user covers the carb on the side of the pipe and approaches the tip of the lighter flame to a corner of the packed bowl. The smoke travels through the hole at the bottom of the bowl and the chamber toward the mouthpiece, ready to be inhaled.
