Our CBD’s 600mg Full Spectrum Pet CBD Oil Tincture is made with two simple ingredients: full-spectrum CBD hemp extract blended together with MCT oil extracted from coconuts— the same two ingredients that we use in our CBD Oil Tinctures for humans.

We recommend giving your cat or dog (or other four-legged friends) a dose of CBD oil based on their weight. Specifically, we recommend starting your pet off with 1 - 2mg of CBD for every 10 pounds they weigh. 

Our 600mg Full Spectrum CBD Pet Oil is formulated to make giving your pet the right dose simple! Each milliliter of CBD oil will contain 10mg of CBD and the dropper you receive with every tincture will be marked so that you can be precise with your dosing. 

For example, if your pet weighs,

1 - 10 pounds give your pet 0.1 - 0.2mL of oil

11 - 20 pounds give your pet 0.2 - 0.4mL of oil

21 - 30 pounds give your pet 0.3 - 0.6mL of oil

31 - 40 pounds give your pet 0.4 - 0.8mL of oil

Start with this dose and stick to it for at least two weeks before adjusting upwards. Use the helpful volume markings on the dropper to assist with proper dosing. If you have further questions about dosing for your specific animal, it’s best to consult your veterinarian.

How to use:

Fast: Fill the dropper to the desired dosage (see description for more details) and dispense the oil directly into your pet’s mouth. Be sure that they swallow.

Est. time to effect: 15 - 30 minutes

Gradual: Fill the dropper to the desired dosage (see description for more details) and dispense the oil into your pet’s water dish, in their food, or into their favorite treat if they are picky about taste.

Est. time to effect: 45 - 75 minutes

When to use:

When to give your pet their dose depends on what you’re trying to address.

Pain: Give your pet their dose(s) gradually throughout the day as needed. Or, if you know that you and your pet are about to be active, give them a dose 30 minutes before physical activity.

Separation anxiety: You can give your pet their dose of CBD oil half an hour before you leave the house so that they can acclimate to its effects while you’re still home.

Stress: If you know that you have a stressful event (i.e. thunderstorm, fireworks, vet appointment), try to administer a dose to your pet 30 minutes beforehand.

Storage Directions

To maintain freshness, keep your 600mg Full Spectrum Pet CBD Oil Tincture in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. A medicine cabinet or your nightstand drawer is an ideal place for your tincture. Excessive heat and exposure to sunlight can degrade the CBD in your CBD oil tincture. Refrigeration is not recommended for bottles currently in use.

When properly stored, your pet’s CBD oil tincture will maintain its potency for up to 18 months.

Is this CBD Oil the same as hemp oil?

Hemp oil and CBD oil are not the same things. Hemp oil, sometimes called hempseed oil is cold-pressed cooking oil that does not contain any substantial amount of CBD. It is possible to find CBD blended into hemp oil though. Be sure to look for and ask for certificates of analysis for verification.

Are there side effects?

Because there is little completed into animal CBD use, veterinarians can extrapolate potential animal side effects based on how CBD affects humans. The best way to avoid any of the following side effects is to consult with your pet’s vet. Based on your pet’s weight, condition, and current medications, they will have better insight into whether or not CBD may be helpful for your animal.
